THC-B is a homologue of Delta 9 THC, tetrahydrocannabutol (THC-B) is a minor cannabinoid found in the buds of the hemp plant. It was discovered in 2019 by the same cannabis researchers who discovered THC-P and has quickly gained itself a name in the minor cannabinoid market . It’s safe to say that the high is somewhere between that of delta 9 and THC-P, with the latter being around 10 times as psychoactive as delta 9. THC-B is know for its fact acting effects in comparison to other psychoactive compounds currently on the market.
Description
Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabutol, or THCB, is a cannabinoid close to THC, the most abundant phytocannabinoid in the cannabis plant and responsible for most cannabis’ psychoactivity. According to the researchers who discovered it, THCB similarly interacts with the endocannabinoid system to THC, and it mainly acts on CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain. The researchers also found that THCB had a stronger binding affinity with CB1 receptors in the brain than the more abundant THC.
