Some customers like to take matters into their own hands and create their own cartridges. In order to do this, a few things are necessary; distillate, terpenes, empty cartridges, a luer lock 1ml syringe, a blunt tip needle, and a heat source.
Turn on your hotplate with the temperature set to 90 degrees Celsius, place the distillate onto the plate and until the distillate melts to a reduced viscosity. Add 5-10% of your choice of terpenes and slowly mix with a stirring rod or magnetic stir bar until the mixture is homogeneous. Once the solution is fully mixed and heated to a liquid consistency, draw up 1ml using a syringe, unscrew the mouthpiece to your cartridge and screw the blunt tip needle into the luer lock syringe. Place the blunt tip inside the open cartridge and depress the plunger to fill the cartridge. Screw on the mouthpiece and enjoy!
If using a hot water bath, fill a pan with water, bring to boil and turn off the heat. Through this process, assure to be careful as to avoid having water splash into the jar. Place the jar into the pan with the lid screwed on tight. Allow the jar to warm up for a few minutes and remove from the water, wipe off the jar and unscrew to stir the mixture. Repeat this process until the distillate is free flowing enough to work with.
How do I melt down diamond sauce?
Some customers prefer to vape the diamonds intact, while others enjoy melting them down to fill their own cartridges. To accomplish this, it is best to use a hotplate or a hot water method. Assure to never leave the contents unattended for extended periods of time under heat to assure the flavor of the terpenes are not affected.
