MORE ABOUT THE CANNABINOIDS IN THIS BLEND
Delta 9 THCv is a compound found in cannabis that is known to produce uplifting effects. THCv has been described by consumers to promote focus, elevated energy, and may serve as a mild appetite suppressant. THCv may also help cope with day to day anxiety and depression. THCv may decrease appetite while increasing satiety – therefore, it may be a handy solution for weight loss. The theory behind this is that THCV can block the CB1 receptor which is well known to stimulate appetite, so blocking this receptor could potentially reduce appetite.
What is HHC ? Many users report HHC to be stronger in effects than Delta 8 THC. HHC is short for Hexahydrocannabinol. It is a cannabinoid similar to Delta 8 THC. While it is found naturally within the hemp plant, it is found in very small amounts. This means it needs to be made in a lab by skilled chemists for a sizable amount to place in products or to test scientifically. However, HHC doesn’t contain THC. Therefore, at no point in the process does the product go over 0.3 percent Delta 9 THC. There is no conflict between HHC and the Farm Bill.Hexahydrocannabinol is one of the most potent cannabinoids we have available. Most HHC users report euphoric and relaxing mind and body effects similar to Delta 9 with far less paranoia and couch-lock side effects. Many describe it as a more social and active version of Delta 9.
Cannabidivarin(CBDv) is a naturally occurring phytocannabinoid that is considered to be the “Varin” form of CBD. CBDv may help reduce or even eliminate nausea, and may help to reduce inflammation throughout the body. CBDV may also be beneficial in the treatment of pain and mood disorders.
Cannabigerol, or CBG, is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid typically most abundant in low-THC and high-CBD cannabis strains, including hemp. Like THC, CBG reacts with the cannabinoid receptors in the brain. CBG, however, acts as a buffer to the psychoactivity of THC by working to alleviate the paranoia sometimes caused by higher levels of THC. CBG works to fight inflammation, pain, nausea. It’s often referred to as the mother of all cannabinoids. This is because other cannabinoids are derived from cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), an acidic form of CBG. Other more common cannabinoids obtained from cannabis plants include cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBG is found in smaller quantities than other cannabinoids in cannabis plants. In most strains of the plant, only 1% of CBG can be found compared to 20 to 25% of CBD or 25 to 30% of THC.1 This makes consumer products derived from the cannabinoid rare and often expensive. However, CBG is growing in popularity as a result of the host of potential benefits the cannabinoid has to offer. CBG works by binding to both receptors where it’s thought to strengthen the function of anandamide, a neurotransmitter that plays a role in enhancing pleasure and motivation, regulating appetite and sleep, and alleviating pain. CBG is great for helping you focus. When combined with other cannabinoids, it can produce sativa-like effects at higher doses.
What is CBC? Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a powerful, non-psychoactive cannabinoid, meaning it will not cause a patient to feel “high.” CBC, like THC and CBD, has been shown to encourage the human brain to grow by increasing the viability of developing brain cells in a process known as neurogenesis. CBC battles inflammation by activating the CB2 receptor. However, because it does not activate CB1, the healing potential of CBC could be enhanced when combined with cannabinoids that do, such as THC. CBC is a very thin oil and is often used to ‘thin out’ blends for carts. CBC is also known as an ‘enhancer’; when combined with other cannabinoids CBC is known to potentiate the effects of the combined cannabinoids.
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is the non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in hemp. CBD is the cannabinoid most often recommended for children, elderly and other patients who must remain clear-headed in their activities because it is non-psychoactive, meaning it will not produce euphoria or the feeling of being "high." CBD reacts with cannabinoid receptors throughout the human body and works to relieve inflammation and pain while producing a calming effect in patients.
