Is Delta 8 the same as CBD?
Delta-8 THC is one of over 100 cannabinoids produced naturally by the cannabis plant, making it distinct from CBD.
But is not found in significant amounts in the cannabis plant. As a result, concentrated amounts of delta-8 THC are typically manufactured from hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD).

Delta 8 THC is Legal
Since delta 8 is chemically processed from CBD, it is technically legal in many states. As a derivative of CBD, it is considered as a CBD product and thus a delta 8 product is classified as a dietary or nutritional supplement.
Most of the delta 8 products today make use of delta 8 compounds derived from legal CBD, either from Charlotte’s Web hemp strain or other CBD-rich strains. Hence, it is technically legal to use and sell delta 8 THC. While it is still a psychoactive substance, federal law does not explicitly state that it is illegal.
Will delta-8 still get me high?
Some people have been asking whether or not Delta 8 gets you high.
The truth is, it does in fact get you high, but the high is a milder high than that of Delta 9 THC.
It also tends to make people sleepy rather than euphoric like most other indica strains of marijuana do.
